If You Have Any Questions About Your Appointment Or The Dress Shopping Experience, Please Feel Free To Call The Store. We Will Do Anything We Can Give You All The Information You Need For Your Special Day.

We provide 90-minute consultations at no charge. However, if an appointment is canceled with less than 48 hours' notice there will be a $75 charge. If a party is more than 15 minutes late, we may have to cancel your appointment. If you need more than two appointments to find your perfect dress, each appointment after will incur a $100 fee



We always recommend nude undergarments, for when you come in to try on gowns. Depending on your level of comfortability, sticky bras/breast petals are a great option as well, because most dresses have a lower back and they tend to not affect the fit as much as a traditional bra. If you have any special accessories you know you will be wearing, it’s a good idea to bring those as well. If you are coming in for your alterations, you will need to bring your wedding shoes and any specific undergarments/shapewear.

 If you are visiting our salon you may bring up to 7 of your closest friends and/or family to help you select your wedding gown. If you would like to bring additional guests, please call the store before booking to see if we can accommodate a larger party.

Standard bridal consultations are 90 minutes. Sample sale appointments are 75 minutes.

You are welcome to bring your own champagne/refreshments, we do ask that whatever you choose to bring in be light in color. If alcoholic beverages are brought in, we do require that an alcohol release form is signed.

Yes, you are more than welcome to take photos and/or videos while finding your perfect dress.

Because brides come in all sizes and shapes, typically alterations are needed. We take your measurements and recommend a size from the designer’s size chart, you can choose to go with the recommended size or whatever size you feel will fit your body best. When the dress arrives, we can provide you with an alterations estimate but we do not require you to use Miosa Bride for alteration services. Please see our alterations FAQ here.

For the most enjoyable shopping experience, we recommend you start looking for a wedding dress at least 9-12 months before the wedding. Once ordered, wedding gowns take approximately 6-8 months to arrive not including shipping or any unforeseen production delays. If you have less than 6 months, we do have options that may work for you. We carry gowns that are in stock and work with many designers who can meet your timeline with rush fees.

Miosa has the largest selection of dresses in the Northern California area and this allows us to carry dresses from all price ranges. Our downtown Sacramento store has dresses starting at $1200, with the bulk of our inventory sitting at $1800-$3200, with dresses going up to $10,000. Our Folsom store located in the Palladio has dresses that start at $1400, with the bulk of their inventory sitting at $1800-$3000, going up to $5,000.

We do not offer rental gowns at this time. But both our Sacramento and Folsom locations have a large inventory of sample gowns that can be purchased and taken home the same day. Please see the FAQ for sample sale appointments here. (Please see below for FAQ and create a page for this)

Gowns that are special ordered, are gowns that are made just for you. Dress designers do not stock every gown in every size, and color, therefore; when you purchase a gown, the dress designer starts making your gown for you, this is why it can take several months for us to receive your gown from the date of purchase. Sample gowns are the dresses we have in store to special order, after a period of time, we are able to sell them at a reduced price as they typically have signs of wear.

For special orders: We require 50% down payment of the total amount to order your gown. You are welcomed to make payments on the gown as you see fit, but the other half is due once the gown has arrived at our store. For purchasing a gown from the Sample Sale or from our inventory, 50% is required to hold the gown, and the other 50% is due within two weeks from date of purchase. All sales are final, we do not offer refunds, cancellations, or exchanges.

Yes, we will ship your gown and/or accessories to you if you do not wish to pick up in store, additional fees will apply. All items are sent via UPS Ground, with insurance and require signature for delivery. We are unable to ship internationally at this time.

If a member of your party feels like they would like to pick out a dress for you, of course, we would love to see what they have envisioned for you to wear for your big day. We ask that a stylist accompanies them throughout the store, as the stores are large and we can help guide them to find what they are looking for.
