WE WERE FOUNDED ON THE PERFECT FIT
Miosa Bride opened its doors in the year 2000. For over 20 years, what began as a small couture design house showing collections at New York Bridal Market has transformed into two of the most successful bridal salons in the country offering made-to-order wedding gowns with over 25 designer collections from around the world.
The owner of Miosa Bride began sewing at the early age of 11 by working in his Father’s store making skiwear. It was there that he learned the importance of work ethic, gained a keen sense of attention to detail, and created the successful roots for his future endeavors. As an adult, he opened his own alterations business with six different locations in the Sacramento region. After perfecting the art of tailoring by altering thousands of garments and noting common flaws in clothing construction, his interest in the engineering behind clothing design and pattern making led him to Fashion Design school where he received the remaining education and tools needed to be a successful designer. Since his time as a student, he has spent time on the Fashion Advisory Committee at local colleges, won numerous awards at state-wide design competitions, taught classes within various design schools in sewing, design, pattern making, and more.
The importance of the perfect fit is part of Miosa Bride’s core values and over the years, we have cultivated the regions most highly regarded couture seamstresses to offer alteration services to our brides. With 40+ years of experience in designing and altering couture gowns, a deep understanding of gown construction and pattern making, and a passion for helping brides feel their best, our full-time staff of seamstresses are available to our brides looking for full-service, in-house alterations for their wedding gown. Offered is a wide variety of alterations ranging from basic fit changes to custom gown modifications.
