Engagement Session Inspiration With One of Miosa’s Own!
Before the arrival of the big day, during a period of time called engagement, some couples decide to celebrate and commemorate the occasion with a photoshoot. When it comes to dressing for an engagement shoot, you can go as formal/casual or as typical/glamorous as you want, depending on your personality as a couple and how you want to look back on this special chapter of your life. If you’re planning an engagement session and get hung up on what to wear, what better place to get inspired than from the experts themselves?
We’re excited to share with you a few photos from the engagement of Miosa’s very own Special Projects Manager Brittany Scott! Outside of the salon Brittany loves to work on creative sewing projects of her own, so it’s no surprise that she decided to make the dress for this engagement session by hand.
The flowy A-line silhouette and stunning choice of cobalt blue creates the perfect blend of classic and modern to compliment the coastal charm of the location, San Francisco’s long-abandoned Sutro Baths.
Of course you don’t have to sew your own dress to create an equally stunning engagement session experience. We just hope that this feature will inspire you to get creative and find your own way to tailor your engagement look to reflect your unique personalities.
